Carol was born in Chicago, Illinois and has been a resident of Indiana since 1957.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University/Purdue University in Indianapolis in 1978 and earned her law degree from Indiana University in 1996.  She was admitted to the Indiana Bar in 1996 and admitted to practice before U.S. District Court, Southern District of Indiana.  Carol is a member of the Indianapolis, Hamilton County, and Indiana State Bar Associations.
